About the event
The event will feature free family-friendly activities, tree care and environmental education, and a ceremony commemorating Spokane's years as a Tree City USA.
Free family-friendly activities: These will include scavenger hunts, crafts, and more.
Tree care and environmental education: You can learn about trees and their importance.
Tree City USA ceremony: Spokane will be celebrating its 22nd year as a Tree City USA.
Compost Fair: Spokane County Master Composters/Recyclers will be demonstrating how to turn yard and food waste into compost.
Other participants: Spokane Urban Forestry, Spokane County Master Composters/Recyclers, Bartlett Tree Experts, The Lands Council, First Wednesday Birdwalks & Community Meetup.
